Auto Insurance
Automobile insurance is compulsory in Massachusetts. Before a vehicle can be registered the owner of the vehicle must obtain a Massachusetts automobile insurance policy.
On April 1, 2007, the state of Massachusetts introduced managed competition. Rates for auto insurance were no longer set by the state. Instead, carriers could publish their own rates, subject to review by the insurance department.
In the new competitive environment rating structures are much more sophisticated and take into consideration a number of different factors including driving history, number of years licensed, type of vehicle, garaging location, loss history, and multi-policy credits.
We’re here to do the work for you. Beginning with a detailed review of your individual needs and ending with four competitive quotes from the carriers that we represent. We even provide complimentary Registry service so you don’t have to stand in line.
