| J.J. Ruddy Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded in 1909 by John Joseph Ruddy. Since then the agency has endured for four family generations. John J. Ruddy’s daughter, Mary Ruddy Hackett, served as President of the agency from 1944 to 1962 when her son John Hackett was appointed President. Mary Ruddy Hackett continued to serve at various capacities until her death in 1994. In 1993, John’s two sons, John Hackett Jr. and Edward Hackett, joined the agency. In January 2005 John Hackett Jr. was named the fourth President. The agency currently has offices in Medford and Winchester. |
